Originally from the panhandle in Farwell, TX, Dillon is continuing his family’s legacy in the water well business. His great-great-great grandfather was among the first licensed water well drillers in Texas. Since then he and his family are still going strong. His father and grandfather each have a water well business out west and after growing up on a pump truck, he chose to start his own in DFW.
As a 6th generation water well pump installer, he has more knowledge than most men twice his age. He is the hardest worker you’ve ever seen and treats each customer like he’d want to be treated. He doesn’t stop at 5pm if you’re without water and he always finds a creative way to save customers money. To customers’ amazement, he has been able to rehabilitate wells that competitors assured needed replacing. He has made many friendships out of customers and you are likely to be the next!
When he finds time away from wells, Dillon trains performance ranch horses and competes in ranch rodeos & ropings. He also is a dedicated father to a 5 year old who you’ll probably find wearing one of his dad’s trophy buckles and telling you exactly how a windmill works!
A true Fort Worth native, Avonlea was raised on a commercial cow-calf operation near Eagle Mountain Lake. She later went on to receive a degree at TCU in Ranch Management with minors in Business, Energy Technology & Management, and Communication Studies. She comes from a long line of entrepreneurs and after spending most of her life working in her family’s businesses: DBE Cattle Company, Elkins Tri-Steel, and managing Elkins Hardware, she decided to continue the family tradition of starting her own.
Avonlea and Dillon met at her family’s Spring Round Up one year when the neighboring ranch he was training horses for brought him to help. After discussing their backgrounds and goals, they decided to team up and create DNA.
When Avonlea isn’t working behind the scenes or on jobs with DNA, she keeps busy in an industry she’s been in for 13 years. If you think she might look familiar, it could be because you’ve seen her in advertisements or fashion segments on DFW news stations. She is signed with The Campbell Agency as a model and actress. With her love for city and country life, you never know if you’ll find her on a runway, pulling pumps with DNA or baling hay for her family.
